This forum is for senior marshals (Kingdom Earl Marshals, Kingdom primary deputies, and society level marshals) of the SCA, Inc. to discuss pertinent issues of administering the martial arts of the organization. If you are not a Society or Kingdom level marshal, you must be invited by your Kingdom Earl Marshal to participate in this forum.

For the sake of all, please adhere to these guidelines:
1) Please use your SCA name for your login. This makes the approval process easier, and all users must be approved for membership. The log in process requires you identify your kingdom and the office you hold. You may also use a signature to indicate this information on every post. It is helpful for all to know who is posting.
2) Please check for existing topics before creating new ones. A common problem is multiple topics covering the same point.
3) Please post to the appropriate category. It is most helpful to find discussions when they are organized.
4) Please keep threads on topic. If the discussion strays off topic, don't be shy about creating a new thread. A link to the original thread is very handy if you would like to give context to where the new thread came from.
5) Please avoid over-quoting. Threads are difficult to follow when entire posts are re-quoted again in responses. If you must quote, please trim your quotes as much as possible. Over-quoting makes thread become very hard to read and follow.

And, the most important point:
6) Conduct yourselves in a noble, chivalrous and courteous manner. There is no place for abuse, accusations, or other ill manners amongst Society officers. We have a job to do, so let's stay constructive in how we do it.

Violation of these rules may result in your posts being moved or altered so they make sense. If behavior or attitude becomes a problem, more stern measures may result.
